Coordinator Positions

|
Babysitting
|
Do you love working with babies? Then watching our 0-2 year olds with other volunteers may be for you. Crafts provided each night for our littlest blessings.
|

Age 3-4: Power Up Preschool
|
Our 3-4 year olds are so sweet and ready to learn about God's love. Preschool coordinators are in charge of preparing a program for our 3-4 year olds.
|
|
Pre-School-Grade 3: Mixed age Crews
|
This area is a fun one! Pre-schoolers will travel together as one big group. Kindergarten children to grade 3 will be mixed into groups so they can become small families who travel together throughout the week.
We can always use more adults to lead these groups.

Grade 4-6 VBS Program
|
Love working with energetic kids? We need coordinators to create a teen program. This is the one area that a guide book is provided. This program will take place at our farm property (less than 2 miles away) and should provide the teens with activities that allow them to relax, play, learn and enjoy one another's company.
One positive about our farm property is the sand volleyball court and the grassy lands that the kids can use.

Arts and Crafts
|
Cut, paste, fold, be creative and organized! Coordinators use the guide books as a guide to create wonderful projects with the children.

Games
|
Play outside with the kids. Lots of fun and excitement. Game suggestions are provided to coordinate with the year's theme.

|
Bible Exploration
|
Present Bible Stories in new and creative ways. Coordinators plan and present these stories.
|
|
Chadder's Theater/Skits
|
Do you like the theater? Chadder’s Video room may be just for you. Show a video, work on Bible pages and connect the Bible to everyday life.

|
Snacks
|
Love to be creative with food? Snacks are provided each day and reflect the bible point of the day. "Recipes" are provided and the children help to prepare the snacks.

Support Roles
(Lots of support roles are also needed to be filled. If you are not available to coordinate a session perhaps you can do one of the following.)

Registration
|
We need people the actual week of VBS to check-in families. These people need to be ready around 5:15PM each night.
|
|
Decorations
|
(Jan-July) Each year our decorations really "set the stage" for a great Bible schoool.
|
|
Publicity
|
(May-June) - Hang flyers/posters in local businesses and send articles to local newspapers with this year's VBS information .
|
|
Crew Leaders
|
A great job to have! You lead children (crews) around to different stations according to the schedule provided. Your only responsibility is to take care of the kids on your crew. You DO NOT have to prepare anything. You can choose whether you would like to lead an age ¾ crew, a preschool crew, a mixed age crew (K to grade 3) or a mixed age crew (grade 4-6). LOTS of crew leaders needed and you must be at VBS every night.
